Glimpses:
Metropolis Ensemble's Fall Preview Concert

7pm - concert forum
8pm - free wine tasting sponsored by Miro Cellars

Metropolis Ensemble and Artistic Director/Conductor Andrew Cyr present a concert forum of new chamber music from three gifted composers, Jakub Ciupinski, Vivian Fung, and Cristina Spinei that features live, interactive demonstrations of their musical sources of inspiration.

Special guests will include Gamelan Dharma Swara, the spectacularly colorful musicians and dancers under the direction of master Balinese artists, the Brazilian percussionist and Berimbau player, Meia Noite , pianist Jenny Lin and members of the Metropolis Ensemble.

Americas Society is a grand turn-of-the-century townhouse; an intimate and elegant setting for the concert forum. Free wine tasting follows the concert, compliments of Miro Cellars, a boutique winery in Sonoma Valley.
